Privacy notice

• Account details: your email address, a securely stored password, your name and whether you use listing tools.
• Profile details you choose to add: phone number, company name and registration number.
• Listings: property details, descriptions and photos you publish or save.
• Enquiries: the name, email, phone number and message you send to a lister, and enquiries you receive.
• Account features: your watchlist, saved alert criteria and portfolio records.
• Technical information: IP address, browser details and request logs created by our hosting providers when you use the site.

• To provide your account, listings, enquiries and other features you ask for. The lawful basis is that this is necessary to provide the service you have requested.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service.
• To respond to legal obligations, only where a specific obligation applies.

We use these providers to run PlotPerch. They process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

• Supabase: accounts, sign-in, database and photo storage, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
• Vercel: website hosting. Our server code runs in Frankfurt; pages may be delivered from the nearest location in Vercel's network.
• Resend: sending account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset (EU region).
• Google Workspace: our email inboxes, when you write to us.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the transfer safeguards in their data processing terms.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use only what the site needs to work:

• Sign-in cookies keep you signed in. Without them, accounts cannot work.
• Saved deal scenarios are stored in your browser's local storage on this device, not in your account. Clearing browser data removes them.
• Working drafts of deal studio edits and listing text are kept in this browser tab only and are removed when the tab closes.

• Account, profile, watchlist, alert and portfolio information is kept while your account exists.
• Withdrawn listings and the enquiries sent and received about them are kept for your records until your account is deleted.
• When you ask us to delete your account, we delete this information within one month. Copies in provider backups and logs are removed as those backups and logs expire.
• Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to deal with your request.
